Browsing Indiegogo, was looking for a dance / theater project to feature. 5 tabs open and Vertere really caught my attention. Honestly, the title did it for me. Honestly, I know almost zero about the true art form of dance.
The video is excellent, showing different dances as they are performed. If you watch it with little distraction, the dances are almost hypnotic at moments. Drawing you in and questioning the meaning behind each one and possibly every movement.
The "About" section provides great detail on the history of CoreDance Company. With enough information while not being long and drawn out. "Campaign" gets right to the point while mentioning the constantly growing dance scene in NY.
"Goal", again, right to the point. I wish there would some detail on the financial breakdown.
"Perks": Honestly, there needs to be 2 or 3 more. While the $50 is more than an excellent value, there could be one higher where you meet the performers. Possibly 1 or 2 lower where you might receive a mention on social media.
If you are not the type to donate for rewards, Vertere is the perfect crowdfunding project! Even if you donate for rewards the $50 level is one of the best values I have seen. Either way, looking at this campaign a few times Vertere is definitely worth at least $1. CoreDance Company has an impressive list of credentials. They definitely deserve the chance to reach the fullest potential.
