Tshibaka to premiere Energy Summit on Facebook
Alaska Republican U.S. Senate candidate Kelly Tshibaka will premiere a video conversation with energy entrepreneur Harold Hamm and Matt Coday, the president of the Oil & Gas Workers Association, on her campaign Facebook page on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. AKDT (3:00 p.m. EDT). Tshibaka, Hamm, and Coday discuss the Biden administration’s war on domestic energy and Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s complicity in the attacks on Alaska’s economy and workers. All members of the media are invited and encouraged to tune in.
Harold Hamm went to work in the oil fields as a teenager and established Continental Resources in 1967 at the age of 21. He built a grassroots startup into an NYSE-traded, Top 10 oil producer. As a voice for America’s oil and natural gas industry and as the leader of one of America’s top companies, he helped to make America energy independent – an achievement that has since been squandered by Joe Biden.
Hamm also co-founded and serves as Chairman of the Domestic Energy Producers Alliance (DEPA), which aims to preserve the millions of jobs and billions of dollars in economic activity and tax revenues generated by onshore drilling and production activities within the United States. Through his work with DEPA, he is widely recognized as the man who led the charge to lift America’s 40-year-old ban on U.S. crude oil exports.
Matt Coday is president of the Oil & Gas Workers Association, an organization which represents more than 45,000 oil and gas workers across 33 states, including Alaska.
