Found out about this while checking tour list for a band (Velvet Rouge). Never pass up a chance to experience one of their performances. Looking at website, have to check out the festival! Living in Lehigh Valley, PA love a festival that doesn't revolve around or heavily promote alcohol.
Scrolling down the "Coffee Masters NYC Signature Drinks" section alone: One day may not be enough to experience this festival. Baristas from different countries will be here. Not really one for watching competitions, definitely going to check out this part. Simple rules and interesting theme present a challenge to participants. Looking forward to all the creativity going into drinks we take for granted.
Next on the list "Coffee Music Project". An incredible band is how I found out about this unique festival. Seriously wish I had all 3 days to check out the variety of great performers at this festival. If you prefer caffeinated versions of the beverage, more than enough music to keep you moving and maybe even dancing. Live music is always my favorite part of any event! Music experiences will be a great break from a busy festival. Band of top of my list: Velvet Rouge.
Definitely need food to balance amount of coffee / lattes / and more you are trying. Street Food Market perfect answer! Teaser on website: Jerry's Empanada's and Pastries. Personally, the pastry part makes a great meal. Love a good empanada. Vegan / Vegetarians are not forgotten at this festival.
Another festival aspect that seriously caught my attention: Project Waterfall. 100 % of all profits donated making sure coffee growers have clean water and facilities.
Checking out ticket prices: Sesson / VIP / Super VIP. VIP / Super VIP are a great value ($60 / $120). Single session is great if you plan on a few hours (choose a time slot). Honestly, with everything at the festival, Single session would really be pushing it if you want the entire experience. I can cover an entire festival / short timeframe. 3 hours for this one? Highly unlikely. Main differences between VIP / Super VIP: Full day vs. 3 days / regular entrance vs. fast track / 1 free coffee cocktail vs. 2 (seriously can't wait to try one). Regardless, you can purchase extra coffee cocktail tokens. Might go with this additional benefit.
Don't like coffee? The New York Coffee Festival promises to be a unique and fun experience. Live music / art / vendors / great food combine to make an NYC visit memorable.
