STATEMENT FROM JIM RENACCI ON HB 435 AND THE FIGHT AGAINST VACCINE MANDATES
Cleveland, OH -- Former congressman and candidate for governor Jim Renacci released the following statement on HB 435:
"This bill is certainly a step forward, but the legislature needs to do more to protect Ohioans from vaccine mandates and Mike DeWine's policies that force them to give up their freedoms. HB 435 needs to be fully vetted so the public understands exactly what is in the bill and how it affects every person. Returning the bill to committee gives proper review and discussion in order to determine if it fully addresses the concerns so many Ohioans have regarding unconstitutional mandates coming from the Biden and DeWine administrations. But let's be clear: the only reason Republicans in the state legislature need to take decisive action in the first place is because Mike DeWine has completely let Ohioans down and trampled over their freedoms."
