GETTR at 1.5 Million Users as Poll Shows Big Room for Growth
GETTR, the new social media platform which defends free speech and fights cancel culture, built on its record-setting debut, powering past 1.5 million registered users following its July 4 launch, with massive room for growth according to new independent polling, Chief Executive Officer Jason Miller reported Thursday. GETTR’s remarkable run saw it eclipse one million users in less than three days – faster than any other social media platform in history. Additionally, a new independent poll indicates that there is massive potential for tens of millions of new GETTR users.
“There’s no question that GETTR is the hot commodity in social media today, with thousands of people signing up every hour,” Miller said. “There’s a gigantic need for an online community that protects opinions and doesn’t cancel users for expressing their 1st Amendment rights. This is true for conservatives and liberals, and includes countries around the world.”
A new survey conducted by respected polling firm Fabrizio, Lee & Associates, not commissioned by GETTR, showed that two-thirds of Republicans who have heard of GETTR have already joined the platform or are planning to sign up. This conversion rate is staggering, especially since the poll showed that only 15 percent of Republicans are currently aware of GETTR. This demonstrates that as word spreads about the new free speech platform, tens of millions of new users are likely to be eager to become GETTR users.
The Fabrizio, Lee & Associates poll surveyed 800 Republicans nationwide between July 6 and 8. The questions about GETTR and social media were contained in a larger survey about GOP attitudes and opinions.
“The sky is the limit for GETTR,” Miller said. “This survey shows what we already suspected. People are hungry for a social media alternative and when they find out about GETTR, they sign up. This is great news.”
In the course of its dramatic opening, GETTR hit Number 1 in the Google Play App Store among all free Apps. In the Apple App Store, GETTR reached as high as Number 8 among all free Apps and Number 3 among social media Apps.
GETTR attracted its first million registered users in a much shorter time frame than any of its competitors in social media, or as compared to other prominent Apps as well. For comparison, other high-profile Apps required much more time to hit the one million user milestone:
GETTR also boasted many prominent, verified users, featuring notable individuals and influencers. Notable users to open accounts so far include: Jason Miller, Newsmax, Mike Pompeo, Ben Carson, Rudy Giuliani, Rep. Kevin McCarthy, Rep. Elise Stefanik, Rep. Jim Jordan, Rep. While a large plurality of GETTR users are located in the United States, countries on every continent but Antarctica are represented, including the United Kingdom, Japan, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Canada, Nigeria, Vietnam, France, Australia, and Panama. In fact, Brazil represents nearly 15% of GETTR’s user base.
