Having a current project on Indiegogo, decided to pull the first review off this site. Browsing several categories, decided on film. In the future, Surreal ValeCity will be going in a few new directions. Between that and the overall idea of this project, fit in perfectly!
Honestly, the "erotic thriller" did catch my attention. Yes, have seen several in my life. The first paragraph I thought "Here is another clone of so many before." The overall story did catch the attention, so read farther and check out the video clip.
The part that really has my attention is the focus on character development. Something VERY hard to pull off with the genre. Most people are watching an erotic anything for the nudity and sex. I can see this as a major challenge. The overall story is kind of unique and different. It depends on how the rest is written.
Why you should you back / support this one? 1) It is an indie project. I know, there are a lot out there. Indies give everything they have into a project because it is what they love. 2) This one is different when you look at the details. With the potential to either hit big or be a complete waste of time, definitely worth making it to the big screen and find out. 3) A cast with an impressive list of credentials. 4) A writer / director, cast and crew who seriously give their hearts and best to make this a good movie. A movie that will attempt to draw your attention from more than just sex.
