On the right track to be one of THE Premier Comic Cons in the country
Keystone Comic Con exploded onto the scene in 2018. Proved they were on the fast track to become one of THE premier Comic Cons in the country! Going in, my expectations were very high. This year, in some areas, it was a smaller and more scaled back version. I was informed there are legitimate reasons. Don't worry, Keystone Comic Con is still very highly recommended and on your must attend list for 2020.
ReedPOP is definitely focused on providing the very best possible experience for everyone involved. As I was leaving, someone was asking people for feedback on the event. During a short conversation, I found out they do rely heavily on that feedback. Serious points here: focus on experience vs. only money. Love reading? Continue below the video review....

In some areas...
This year, with the exception of Press Lounge and Panel rooms, the entire event was in the main area on the 2nd floor. 2018, Games and Panel Rooms were on the 1st floor. I did completely forget about the Press Lounge. What surprised me the most was the Games area. Game Creators (video and tabletop) were not featured.
What did impress me?
1) Again, they achieved a perfect balance of entertainment (ie: wrestling exhibition) / vendors / creators / celebrities / Cosplay / panels.
2) Volunteers and Staff: Friendly, professional definitely willing to help. Even someone who could not find the up escalator (don't ask...).
3) After party with The Roddenberries, Star Trek band. Unfortunately, had to go back before that fun.
4) The panels covered a variety of subjects. They were not only limited to comics and related areas.
Keystone Comic Con is very high on the watch list. Changes based on feedback from different sources. Main focus on providing the best possible experience for everyone involved. 2 different, yet very cool after parties. Excellent friendly and professional staff / volunteers. Wide range of prices / packages for almost any budget and family. A perfect balance of vendors / creators / celebrities / entertainment / panels. Makes Keystone Comic Con a must attend for you and your family!
