Greensboro Community Vaccination Center Begins Offering Johnson & Johnson
Single Dose Vaccine
No appointment required to receive either
Johnson & Johnson or Pfizer vaccine
GREENSBORO — The federally supported COVID-19 Community Vaccination Center in Greensboro at Four Seasons Town Centre today began offering the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which is available in addition to the two-dose Pfizer vaccine already offered.
“These tested, safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines will help us get back in control of our lives and back to the people and places we love,” said NC Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Mandy Cohen, M.D. “Johnson & Johnson vaccine has the added benefit of a one-shot dose to be fully vaccinated. It’s easier than ever for people to take their shot against COVID-19.”
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration have reaffirmed that the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is safe and effective in preventing COVID-19 and recommend its continued use to prevent serious illness, hospitalization and death from the disease. To date, more than 250,000 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine have been administered in North Carolina.
The Greensboro Community Vaccination Center at Four Seasons is offering the Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer vaccines on a walk-in and drive-up basis, without appointment.
