Jessica Brousseau, Chief of Staff to Lieutenant Governor Gilchrist
“I am so excited to welcome Jessica, a familiar face, as my new chief of staff,” said Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist. “Jessica brings years of experience in the Executive Office to the team, and I look forward to working with her to stand tall for Michiganders and deliver on the issues that matter most to working families, small businesses, and communities.”
Jessica has been on the Whitmer-Gilchrist administration’s federal affairs team since day one. She has advanced Michigan’s federal interests, with a focus on health care, economic development, workforce, and agriculture.
Previously, Jessica was director of policy and government affairs at a consulting firm and worked as an aide to Senator Debbie Stabenow. Jessica received a Masters of Legislative Affairs from George Washington University and her undergraduate degree from Albion College.
