Gov. Sisolak announces early departure for state government offices in northern Nevada due to inclement weather
Carson City, NV – Due to worsening weather conditions, dropping temperatures and potentially dangerous road conditions reported by the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) in the Carson City, Washoe County and Douglas County areas for the afternoon of Wednesday, January 27, Governor Sisolak has ordered all State government offices in those areas to (other than essential public safety and corrections personnel) to be closed, effective at 3 p.m. today.
