Florida on Track to Offer Vaccine to Every Long-Term Care Facility Resident and Staff Member by February 1
Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced that by February 1st, the COVID-19 vaccine will have been offered to every resident and staff member to Florida’s nearly 700 nursing homes and over 3,000 assisted living facilities.
The Governor made this announcement during a visit to River Garden Hebrew House for the Aged in Jacksonville, where he was joined by Emmett Reed, Executive Director of the Florida Health Care Association, and Steve Bahmer, President and CEO of LeadingAge Florida.
