New Dates
In light of the current COVID-19 crisis, we've decided to again push back DFAF until Oct. 22-25, 2020
The fair organizers want to proactively ensure the health and safety of both exhibitors and guests. As always, we will be monitoring recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention as well as local governments.
Originally set to debut this May, then postponed to July 23-26, the producers, ShowHamptons, feel it is in the best interest of all parties to push back even further into the calendar and into the fourth quarter, with the Oct 22-25, 2020 dates.
This gives the fair a substantial 6-month runway for the health crisis to improve, the economy to return and for Denverites to want to reconnect through cultural events. Working closely with the National Western Complex, local advisors, and Denver Tourism, it is projected that Denver's regional cultural activity should be returning to its active self by late Summer and early Fall.

Says, Rick Friedman, Executive Director, “I feel these are ideal dates when Denverites will have returned from their summer homes and trips, schools will be in session, and art lovers will be seeking to re-engage in art events. It provides us even more time to build the crescendo and excitement of an inaugural international art fair the City and the region can call its own - with just a longer prelude.”
The fair will present 60+ select art galleries from across the nation and internationally. Curated to the cosmopolitan aesthetics of the Rocky Mountain region, over $100 million in important fine art, ranging across genres and periods, will be presented for acquisition.
The fair targets a wide and virtually untapped market region, comprising about 40% of the United States. Focused on American, Western, Modern, Postwar and Contemporary, it will be the most comprehensive fine art fair ever serving the Rocky Mountains, Southwest and The Plains regions of the US.
The VIP Opening Night will be Thursday, Oct 22 and CuratorCon will be Friday, Oct 23.
