CARSON CITY, NV — Today, the Nevada COVID-19 Mitigation and Management Task Force finished the third of three meetings with counties to discuss the State’s Roadmap to Recovery plan, including a May 1 plan to transition day-to-day management of COVID-19 to local authorities.

Many counties gave an update on their current situation and gave a look into their plans for the future of the response. The Nevada’s Roadmap to Recovery – Transition Plan served as a foundation for the conversation.

Plans for the transition will be submitted for further discussion and consideration by the task force in the coming weeks.
