Right off: The car show was something Allentown / United States / World desperately needed right now. In the U.S., at least, we are into the recovery of Covid. This event was definitely a return to life! I don't like to use the term "normal".
My first thought was one of the scenes in the original Fast and Furious. Where everyone gets together to have a great time, forgets about everything happening in the world. Excellent turnout with cars and people stopping by. My first walk-through, before the decision to do the article, I noticed more cars pulling in. About 1/2 hour later? Yeah, good luck finding a spot to show off your car!
Highlights (addition to cool cars / great dj): TSP was doing a Dyno demonstration. Honestly, never been into cars. You have to look that one up. Aluminodi had great stress relief: Smash a car with a hammer!
Giving back to community / everyone has different meanings. Steve and crew / Roddy, it appeared, wanted an event where people could enjoy the spring / being outside / return to life. If that was one of their goals, definitely and seriously achieved. Like I said, never been into cars, had a great time / break from the business side of my life. The car show was the first, in person, event ValeCity has covered since late December 2019.
