Barletta ad makes closing argument: “Proven, Road-tested & Ready”
Former mayor and congressman Lou Barletta, leading Republican candidate for governor of Pennsylvania, today launched an ad stressing that his experience in fighting for Pennsylvanians on the national stage makes him “proven, road-tested, and ready” to be the next governor. The ad will be rotated into Barletta’s existing television advertising buy, which will continue through the Republican primary election on May 17. Barletta announced the near-seven figure buy in April, running on cable television in markets across Pennsylvania.
The ad, titled “The Great Pennsylvania Comeback,” consists entirely of Barletta’s closing statement from the televised debate at ABC27 in Harrisburg last month.
In the ad, Barletta says:
As the mayor of Hazleton, I stood on the national stage when I fought illegal immigration, when nobody in the country had the courage to do that.
And I didn’t back down.
That’s exactly what we need right now. We need someone who has the courage to fight for you.
I am proven, road-tested, and ready.
I am pro-God, pro-gun, pro-family, pro-life, and pro-America.
This will be the new Pennsylvania. This will be the great Pennsylvania comeback.
