Virus section in Archives!

Thinking about for the better part of a week, decision was made to get things back to normal. States are reopening, restrictions around the world are being relaxed. People, in general, are moving past the virus. Speaking with a close friend, she said people are tired of hearing about it. I completely agree! I was getting tired / burned out of only covering the virus. I started moving my life back to a "business as usual" routine. Only wearing mask / social distancing where required. Honestly, never liked people getting too close to begin with.

Coronavirus / covid19 is a part of our life now. Just like violence / suicide / vehicle accidents / etc. You get my point here. It is time to get the rest back to being a part also: family / friends getting together without worrying about violating some state / local restriction. Sporting / amusement venues opening, etc. Again, you get my point.

From the start, I was never worried about a "virus". I was worried about state governors gaining absolute power. I was worried about mainstream / corporate media providing mis / partial information. I was worried about a short list of people. As things progressed, concerned about all the other casualties: domestic abuse / violence / suicide / number of businesses permantely closing.

With 1 exception, ValeCity covered the virus to combat mainstream  / corporate media. Always stating only facts. Asking your opinions. Asking difficult questions which were often left unanswered. Hopefully, the goal was achieved. Myself and this media take Freedom of Speech / Press very seriously. Also, the responsibility to you, the public very seriously.

Remember: No one forces you to walk into a business or even leave your residence. No one forces you not to wear a mask or social distance. You have to do what is safe for you and your family. On the flip-side: Do not force the rest of us to live by your rules. I hope your / your family / friends stay safe.

Sincerely,
Michael Phoenix
