Not a popularity contest
In the Lehigh Valley, there are several ways to be a "Best Of..." Point blank: Those are nothing but high-school level popularity contests. The businesses that receive the most votes win. After seeing all the flat out ass kissing and vote begging, time for something different. The promotion is not restricted to Lehigh Valley Businesses.
During the 2018 holiday season, Halloween to New Year (United States), this magazine will give special recognition to any local business who has shown high levels of helping others. By helping others, I am talking about charities / schools / individuals / families. examples:
1) Make more than 1 donation to a charity.
2) Give a meal or something else to a homeless person, especially in winter. High end restaurants can easily do this.
3) Create and hold an event for a family in need. Examples: fire / natural disaster / loss of job / loss of family member.
4) Create and hold an event for a local charity.
Just some examples and ideas.
