TRUMP CAMPAIGN NEWSPAPER AD HIGHLIGHTS DEMOCRATS' PLANS TO KILL OHIO'S ECONOMY
President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign has taken out a full-page, full-color, local newspaper advertisement ahead of the Democrats' debate in Ohio tonight. The campaign is running an ad in the Columbus Dispatch contrasting Democrats’ disastrous plans for America with President Trump’s clear record of accomplishments.
"Democrats will be on stage promoting their disastrous brand of big government socialism, which will kill jobs and the entire Ohio economy," said Tim Murtaugh, Trump campaign communications director. "President Trump’s clear record of growing the economy and creating more than six million jobs stands in clear contrast to the Democrats’ calamitous ideas. Team Trump is here to remind Ohioans and all Americans what's at stake in 2020."
The newspaper ad is running on the morning of the fourth wave of Democrat debates and showcases Democrat calls for the elimination of private health insurance, abolishment of the fossil fuel industry, unnecessary regulations that will slow job creation, and higher taxes.
The Trump campaign has also already announced it will employ aerial advertising ahead of tonight's debate across the city of Westerville, Ohio from 12:00-3:00pm and 3:45-6:45pm.
