Trump campaign raised $10 million around Tulsa rally – far more than Biden/Obama event
Biden blocks media from using video or audio to report event
President Trump’s re-election campaign today announced that, along with the Republican National Committee (RNC) and joint committees, it raised more than $10 million over the weekend of the President’s rally in Tulsa, well more than the $7.6 million estimate of Joe Biden’s fundraising event today with former President Barack Obama. Most of the Trump campaign’s haul from Friday to Sunday came from online donors and further illustrates the intense grassroots enthusiasm behind President Trump’s re-election. The Trump and RNC entities also recently reported raising $14 million in one day to mark the President’s birthday.
Biden, who has not held a press conference in 82 days, reportedly blocked media from using video and audio feeds to report on his event with Obama. The only Americans able to watch were those who paid for it. Meanwhile, the excitement fueling the President’s campaign was further underscored by an all-time record viewing audience for the Tulsa rally on Fox News and millions more watching online, totaling 20 million Americans.
“Democrats are stuck with Joe Biden, a basement-barricaded candidate so weak and feeble he can’t even stand up to his own supporters tearing down statues and defunding our local police departments,” said Tim Murtaugh, Trump 2020 communications director. “There is no enthusiasm for Joe Biden. Even his guest of honor, Barack Obama, urged him not to run to avoid embarrassing himself. The fact that he touted this fundraising event so grandly, and then hid it from view, is just more proof that Joe Biden can’t withstand the scrutiny of the American people as he runs for president.”
