A definite for all travelers!
I found out about this site from a message through Twitter. When everything started as a blog, I did some website reviews. Time to add that to the occasional list. Other than basic geography and high school, I know very little about other countries. Swedish Nomad is a great place for beginners!
With a site design that is simple and direct, Alexander pulls you in from the home page. His recent blog posts give you an idea about locations you may not haven't even heard about. At least I didn't. I did say I was a beginner on this one.
Technical side:
The site design is excellent. From the home page, there are just enough sections to keep your interest without being overbearing. The pop out side navigation really helps in this area. Allowing you to access what you are looking for or find something new. Very few ads placed at the top and bottom reduce clutter and place focus on content.
Content:
By placing a few recent blog posts on the home page, Alexander grabs your attention with a great tease! Each section has a simple title. The content is relevant to that section. His blog gives you brief, important, points about each destination. Just enough to get your interest without boring the hell out of you. Like the written side, He limits photos just enough to spark interest.
Final point:
Do not be surprised if you get a few site design ideas here.
Great job! Swedish Nomad is easily worth your time to explore.
