State of Utah to Launch Live On Campaign as a New Resource to Help Utahns Struggling with Isolation, Job Loss and Health Concerns
What:
May is National Mental Health Awareness Month. During this time of increased stress, uncertainty, and social isolation, attention needs to be given to the mental health of our community and how best to support and provide resources. Utah has lost an average of 620 of our community members to suicide every year over the last five years. Tomorrow, the state along with community partners will launch a 3-year campaign to promote education, provide resources, and change the culture around suicide and mental health. This campaign is called Live On. Live On is a statewide effort to prevent suicide by promoting education, providing resources, and changing the culture around suicide and mental health.
