Wescosville, Pennsylvania – 22 March 2022: Shepherd Hills Public Golf Club is spring-ready with a new Golf PRO at the helm, course improvements, and scrumptious American comfort food for the whole family (and pets) to enjoy.
Shepherd Hills is home to an expansive 6,343-yard par 70 course featuring lush greens and pristine landscaping where golfers and guests can enjoy a fun-filled afternoon. Helping make the Shepherd Hills experience more enjoyable is Thor Schaffer who joins the company as the newest Golf PRO overseeing the club’s course operations. He brings with him over two decades of professional experience and thrilling programs to look forward to. “Aside from the current leagues we’ve been running, I plan to help players master their techniques in putting, chipping, pitching and full swings with personalized sessions.” Schaffer shares. “On top of that, we’re organizing monthly golf clinics to accommodate aspiring players of all ages – including a junior program for ages 6 and up so children can join in on the fun too!”
The golf club also reveals major course improvements for a seamless playing experience. Upgrades include brand-new tee boxes, cart fleets, cart paths and an expanded irrigation system to maintain optimal course conditions throughout the season.
After rounds, Lower Macungie’s largest pet-friendly restaurant invites everyone to wine and dine outside on the deck at The Hut or int the Biergarten. Spearheaded by award-winning Executive Chef Mike Honeywell, Shepherd Hills indulges diners with an assortment of food, beverages, and desserts.
