MOVING FORWARD TOGETHER
In the last few months, the landscape of our lives has changed in so many ways, and continues to shift daily. We hope that you are safely navigating this uncharted territory while finding ways to stay connected to the things you value.
The Print Center is adapting so we can bring you compelling programs about contemporary photography and print from our home offices, where we remain for the time being to keep our staff and visitors safe.
We are implementing newly learned technologies and expanding our virtual platforms in order to share thoughtful and relevant programming with you. The upside of virtual programming is that we can engage our worldwide audiences - bringing Philadelphia to them and them to Philadelphia!
We need your support to create accessible and vibrant exhibitions and events.
With each day we grow and evolve, yet remain steadfast in our dedication to celebrating the democratic nature of photography and print, to supporting artists, to educating young people and to providing an equitable platform for all.
These things are more important now than ever, and despite the virtual nature of our work, we still need your financial partnership to make all of this happen.

In our historic building, we have launched Windows on Latimer - site-specific commissions by Philadelphia artists for our iconic bay window. On view now is a powerful piece by Shawn Theodore.
This fall will bring you our first exhibition specifically designed for the virtual world. (Un)Making Monuments will feature photographers whose work explores how history is marked and mediated through physical manifestations in the landscape. There are also virtual versions of the 94th ANNUAL solo exhibitions, plus the work of finalists and semifinalists, already on our site.
We will convene virtual conversations between you and artists - look for programs with Gallery Store artist Jenny Schmid, talks with Amze Emmons and Anastasia Samoylova about their upcoming exhibitions, rescheduled for 2021, and several talks related to (Un)Making Monuments.
For artists, we will offer webinars with the renowned photography consultant Mary Virginia Swanson - an exceptional professional development opportunity coming in October.
Artists-in-Schools Program (AISP) curricula have been adapted for distance learning for our students and school partners. AISP At Home is a new video series of contemporary art projects for high-school aged students to make with easily accessible household materials. For the fall semester, we will add pre-recorded studio visits and interviews with artists.
Please donate today to support all of our big plans!
Your support is especially important to us right now. The pandemic curtailed our traditional fundraising efforts this spring - for the first time in more than fifteen years, we couldn't invite you to enjoy a Dinner Date with a special artist in a collector's home. We are also facing drastic cuts in government, corporate and foundation funding due to the volatile and uncertain environment.
Please consider donating the amount of a Dinner Date subscription - $100, $550 or $1000, or whatever amount you would have contributed this past spring. While the arts have been especially hard hit by COVID-19, The Print Center's resilience and flexibility will see us through.
Our strength is our dedicated and loyal community - and we thank you in advance for your generous support.
The Print Center's offices and galleries are currently closed due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The Gallery Store is now open by appointment:
