Caught my attention a few years ago...
I first noticed this festival on social media a few years ago. Ok, I admit, the festival focusing on the mythology of the Phoenix is pretty much what did for me. There are other reasons this project is featured.
In addition to the mythology, a parade through the town. Relocation to what is apparently a larger location. Everything from live music, vendors, crafts and more. Having an outdoor festival in PA in December! All of these have contributed to my interested here.
The Indiegogo is very well laid out. Staying brief and on point in every area. Giving enough information to get your interest (and hopefully donation). Yet, not going overboard and having boredom set in. The rewards definitely fit the project. Even a $5 donation and you will receive a mention the website.
In case you are curious, if at all possible, the magazine has serious interest in supporting and covering this one.
