Great conversation / observations: did her absolute best to make 2021 NYE memorable / as close to perfect as humanly possible. 5 days / 2 overnights in Philadelphia (kicking off the season with Christmas parade), NYE in Downtown Allentown caught me off guard. Honestly, I was expecting an all-out, over the top celebration. 3 hours reminded me (again) of what the season / NYE is about. Yeah, wild fireworks shows / alcohol / parties are great. Family / friends / celebrating life, nothing can remotely compare.
Staci and everyone involved reminded me of being a kid / taking time / remembering the past / looking forward to the future in the same moment. The celebration was more of a small town, community feel. Kind of what you see in the Hallmark / Lifetime holiday movies. Didn't know anyone, as of typing this article (2:50 a.m / Jan 1) there is still a smile on my face from being there.
