Nevada Health Response announces COVID-19 Dashboard update
Carson City, NV – Today, Nevada Health Response announced the State’s COVID-19 Dashboard will no longer be updated on the weekend.
Effective immediately, the Dashboard will be updated Monday through Friday to remain consistent with Local Health Authorities and partners who are discontinuing providing data updates to the State on weekends.
To provide the most complete, accurate data, the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Analytics will update the COVID-19 Dashboard Monday through Friday, with Monday’s data including updates from the weekend which may make the Monday and Tuesday updates higher than has been seen recently.
The trends tab on the Dashboard and the average metrics continue to be the most reliable view of the data as it accounts for reporting delays or other daily data anomalies.
“For more than a year, daily data updates have been provided to keep Nevadans informed of COVID-19 cases, testing and now vaccination in their communities,” said DHHS Biostatistician Kyra Morgan. “I am incredibly proud of this team and their dedication to accurately and reliably update this information every day, and their ability to continue providing Nevadans with important information as we go forward.”
