4th and Market / Philadelphia walked past this museum in March. Went in, talked to woman at desk. Normally, museums don't do it for me. Museum of Illusions not your typical, sterile, place. Museum of Illusions is highly interactive. Every exhibit invites you to look / stare or move something. From the start, spots on the floor to take the best photos.
The museum is an education experience. Every exhibit provides information and history. I did a quick tour. Stopped a few, realized the serious history of optical illusions. You also learn about the science of optical illusions. How the eyes / mind interprets things.
Right off, favorite parts: Slanted room / Vortex tunnel. Think you have a great sense of balance? Try the slanted room! 30 seconds after I was on flat floor, finally regained equilibrium. Vortex tunnel: reminded of something similar as a kid. Dorney Park / 80's / Gold Mine (look it up). Half-way through, had to grab the rails. Scroll down for full review / photos.
