Luetkemeyer statement on Biden's proposal for massive tax hikes on American workers
WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Committee on Small Business Ranking Member Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-MO) released the following statement on President Biden's proposal for a $2 trillion tax hike on the American worker.
“President Biden’s plan to impose $2 trillion in tax hikes on our nation’s employees will hurt the American worker at all income levels. On the heels of the pandemic, the government should be providing opportunities to uplift our hardworking men and women through tax cuts and deregulation, not proposing tax hikes that will hurt nearly 1 million small businesses from coast to coast. Our committee has a duty to protect our country’s small businesses, and we cannot stand by and allow job-killing proposals to harm American workers.”
