Ranking Member Luetkemeyer speaks out against Biden's Blue State Bailout Bill
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, House Committee on Small Business Ranking Member Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-MO) spoke out against the House Democrats’ passage of the partisan $1.9 trillion “American Rescue Plan” as the bill is sent to President Biden to be signed into law.
“The Democrats’ partisan 'Biden Blue State Bailout Bill' puts politics above Main Street USA’s hardworking men and women,” said Ranking Member Luetkemeyer. “While Republicans have fought to responsibly provide targeted relief to our nation’s small businesses, Democrats have turned their focus to bailing out failed Democrat state leadership while also handing taxpayer dollars over to their big labor union allies. Congress should never be in the business of bailing out states for their own mismanagement, and with this passage, Democrats are willfully allowing the same failed policies to continue.”
