Lou Barletta Statement on a Full Forensic Audit of Pennsylvania's 2020 Election Results
Former Mayor and Congressman Lou Barletta, Republican candidate for governor of Pennsylvania, today issued the following statement regarding his continued support for a full forensic audit of Pennsylvania's 2020 Election Results:
"Since December, I have been calling for a full forensic audit of what happened in Pennsylvania’s 2020 elections and my stance has not changed. 2019’s Act 77 allowed for this chaos to occur and now millions of Pennsylvanians who voted for President Trump, myself included, have serious concerns about how our elections were administered in 2020. As I’ve said before, if there’s nothing to hide why not allow for an audit so we can finally put this behind us?
"My election integrity advisory board is comprised of county commissioners who were on the ground for the 2020 election and directly oversaw the implementation of the election in their counties, giving them a unique perspective separate from those in Harrisburg on how to secure our elections. I will not rest until Pennsylvanians can trust our elections are safe and secure."
