House Passes Five Bipartisan Small Business Committee Suspension Bills
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the U.S. House of Representatives took up five Small Business Committee bills on the suspension calendar. All the bills were favorably reported out of Committee in February and were passed today with bipartisan support. Below is an overview of each bill.

- This bill modernizes and reauthorizes the Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) network to improve coordination and communication between SBDCs and the SBA on behalf of America’s 32 million small businesses.
- This legislation reforms, improves, and reauthorizes the SBA’s Women’s Business Centers by increasing oversight and requiring enhanced accountability requirements for all operating WBCs.
- This bill reforms and reauthorizes the SCORE program by increasing safeguards and enhancing data and reporting standards.
- This bill requires the Ombudsman of the Small Business Administration to maintain a webpage that aggregates small business regulatory compliance guides.
- This legislation requires the SBA’s Office of Advocacy to examine and speak on behalf of small businesses on international economic matters, including trade issues.
