Governor Sisolak continues ‘Jobs + Workers Week’ with visit to Sephora Distribution Facility
NEVADA – Today Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak kicked off the second day of ‘Jobs + Workers Week’ in Nevada with a visit to the Sephora Distribution Facility in North Las Vegas.
During the tour, the Governor was able to hear about the multiple partnerships that were established as Sephora made the determination to move to Nevada. Sephora is committed to diversity in hiring and has a strong partnership with Vocational Rehab that has resulted in hiring multiple Nevadans with disabilities to work in their facility.
“I was grateful to take a behind-the-scenes look inside this facility today as part of Jobs + Workers Week and talk to workers about how we continue our economic recovery and create more opportunities for Nevadans,” Gov Sisolak said. “My Office – along with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development - is committed to attracting and bringing more high-quality jobs like these jobs to the State of Nevada as we continue our economic recovery.”
