Governor Sisolak issues statement on passing of Nye County Commissioner-elect Richard “Dick” Gardner
CARSON CITY - Today, Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak issued the following statement on the passing of Nye County Commissioner-elect Richard “Dick” Gardner.
“I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Nye County Commissioner-elect Dick Gardner. This U.S. Navy veteran was a longtime resident of Beatty and spent many years in public service on the town’s advisory board. He was heavily involved with military and service organizations, including the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Masonic Lodge. Kathy and I send our love and deepest condolences to the Gardner family, the town of Beatty and Nye County.”
