Governor Sisolak reminds Nevadans, visitors of safety measures ahead of Fourth of July holiday
Carson City, NV — Today, Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak urged Nevadans and visitors to stay safe and healthy during the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
With an increase in cases recently, it is more important than ever to remember that COVID-19 is still among us in our communities, and that in the last few months, holidays and celebrations have resulted in an increase.
The Governor reminded Nevadans and visitors it is critically important to wear a face covering when you leave the house and that a mask is not a substitute for social distancing.
Public health experts recommend that outdoor activities are generally safer being in an enclosed space and that while wearing a face covering Nevadans and visitors should still maintain 6 feet of space between you and others who are not in your household.
Also, wash your hands often and if you do not feel well, you must stay home to protect yourself and others.
