Governor Sisolak signs Emergency Directive allowing licensing boards for medical providers to resume collecting licensing fees for Nevada licensees
LAS VEGAS, NV - Today, Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak signed and issued Emergency Directive 046, which amends Directive 011 to allow licensing boards for medical providers to resume collecting licensing fees for Nevada licensees starting 30 days after the effective date of this Directive.
Fees will continue to be waived for medical providers from out of state who apply to come into Nevada pursuant to Directive 011. Additionally, Fees will also continue to be waived for retired Nevada licensees who are providing COVID-related medical services pursuant to Directive 011.
Starting 31 days after the effective date, licensing boards can resume suspending licenses or taking other action against active Nevada licensees for administrative reasons, including failure to pay fees, failure to meet continuing education requirements, etc.
