CARSON CITY, NV – Today, by executive order, Governor Steve Sisolak ordered the flags of the United States and the State of Nevada to be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol and state public buildings and grounds from sunrise on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2020 until noon of the same day in honor of the brave individuals who have served our great nation.
“Both our country and our State were founded on the courage and bravery of the countless servicemen and women who have defended our freedoms,” said Governor Sisolak. “Memorial Day is the perfect opportunity to remember and pay homage to those who have laid down their lives in service to our nation.
