Georgia resident wins $20K in GETTR’s Home for the Holidays Sweepstakes
GETTR CEO Jason Miller awards prize to Christi Bagley live on Steve Bannon's War Room
Cumming, Georgia resident Christi Bagley is the lucky winner of GETTR’s Home for the Holidays sweepstakes, accepting her prize of $20,000 to cover rent or mortgage for the next year. GETTR Chief Executive Officer Jason Miller personally made the presentation at Bagley’s home with a sizeable gathering of friends and family on hand to witness the occasion.
"When you enter a contest like this, you never really think you’re going to win, but when I got that phone call, it was the best Christmas present ever,” said Bagley. “We’re definitely going to put some of the money to good use, but we’re also going to donate a good amount to charity. If I was blessed to win this contest, I want to help out other people too.”
Bagley will be donating a portion of her winnings to her non-profit organization.
"People really do win at GETTR,” said Miller. “Run-away inflation and the latest Covid news have got a lot of people down, but at GETTR we want to do what we can to help. We’re spreading Christmas cheer, and also free speech, wherever we go!”
GETTR, the social media platform which defends free speech and fights cancel culture, launched the contest to provide some relief this holiday season amid the ongoing pandemic and spiraling inflation. From December 1st through December 12th, contestants had the chance to enter to win the $20,000 grand prize, with the winner selected at random by an outside law firm. Contestants were required to have a registered GETTR account to enter.
The Home for the Holidays Sweepstakes followed on the heels of GETTR’s Get Revvin’ Sweepstakes, in which Florida’s Jeanne Lyle won a brand-new 2021 Harley-Davidson® Road Glide® Motorcycle, and the successful Get Truckin’ sweepstakes, in which Lakewood, New Jersey’s Rafael Goldberg won a 2021 Ford® F-150®.
GETTR, which does not cancel people for their political opinions, officially launched on July 4th and already has amassed over three million registered users. GETTR achieved its first million users less than three days after launch and cemented its place in history as the fastest growing social media platform ever.
GETTR is available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play App Store, as well as online at www.gettr.com.
