Day 2: Continuing to exceed potential and any expectations after day 1!!!!!
Day 2 of the festival had all the fun, excitement, education and more as day 1. The check list was lighter, at least at the beginning, started getting a real feel for the festival. When I had time, dropped into the Expo part a little more to see what was live. Paid more attention to announcements in chats. Quicker jumps between Stage / Sessions / Expo areas. It was still very hard to get caught up from yesterday, full attention was on festival. Like I said yesterday, that is serious and major points here!!!!
In case you missed day 1 or 2, final day looks just as promising. Wide variety on Stage and Sessions. Can't wait to see if anything new in Expo. A couple of Encores from earlier. I have to give special mention to Seamonster chats. As I am typing, still laughing from 2 times when I dropped in. They are as interested in what people are doing / have to say as what they wanted to talk about. I even turned on the camera this morning. I REALLY don't like being on that side of it.
Out of all the events / festivals I have attended over the past 8 years, believe me the number is nowhere near low. Games for Change Virtual Festival 2020 definitely rates towards the top. I can not give enough enough gratitude to everyone involved, especially behind the scenes and tech. It is an excellent learning experience, fun, interesting in a great way and much more. The main challenge you will face is trying to prioritize your checklist.
If you made it this far, definitely listen to the video review....

Quick shot of my laptop, switching between the 2 to keep track of everything. Quick mention of Paper Beast. Short preview I saw at awards really didn't do it for me. Attending the presentation, one of the most beautifully designed games I have ever seen. Definitely on the list when I get a VR headset!
Small sample of everything happening at the festival. Day 2? Not as packed as day 1, at least at the beginning... The Expo had as many great presentations / speakers as the stage! Next time this festival is virtual, using 2 laptops. :)
