Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence
Today, pursuant to Governor DeSantis' Executive Order 20-44 relating to the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence (FCADV), Chief Inspector General Melinda Miguel provided Governor DeSantis with her preliminary findings stemming from the allegations of FCADV’s gross misuse of taxpayer dollars.
These results pertain to 169 entities in Florida that contract with the state as a sole source provider named in statute or 675 entities that through contract or grant agreement annually receive 50% or more of their budget from state or the state and federal government.
Chief Inspector General Miguel is continuing her review into those entities that have either not reported or have reported that their entities’ executive compensation exceed state and federal regulations and the final report will be completed June 30, 2021.
