What ValeCity loves about each area
Surreal ValeCity was started on July 4, 2016 in Philadelphia, PA. December 2017, the media was introduced to NYC (Manhattan specifically). The founder, Michael Phoenix, currently lives in the Lehigh Valley. Places, businesses, art galleries and more have become favorites and "must stops" when time allows. The lists are not complete by a long stretch. They will be evolving over time and travel. You are encouraged to experience as much of any area you can.
To date, the only sections explored have been Old City and Downtown / Center City. Every visit is usually tight on time and a rush. There is a lot to explore and do in these parts alone. If you are on a tight budget, it is very possible to have a great day. Check out local art galleries, Independence Hall area, use Google Maps and Visit Philly for ideas.
New York City is relatively new area for ValeCity. Manhattan, the main borough of exploration so far. Did walk the Brooklyn Bridge, outside of history, not really impressed. A lot people and photos being taken seriously delays the walk. Local side / scene holds the interest.
