Emmaus Rotary Makes a Difference on October 19 and Everyday!
Event Information:
Emmaus Rotary will be having their third Service Day - Make A Difference Day on Saturday, October 19th, 2019. Emmaus Rotarians are planning to serve their community by taking part in as many projects as possible on this day. This year we plan to have morning light gardening work, bulb planting and cleaning windows at Hillside School, starting at 8 am. Tree planting at and near the Knauss Homestead with our friends from Wildlands Conservatory 8.30 am Preparing dinner at 8.30-11 am for the men at the Allentown Rescue Mission and individual meal packing for Turning Point families both at in the Kitchen at Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Clothes and item sorting between 10-2 pm at The Kindness Project in Emmaus. Help in two areas at the Emmaus Halloween Parade with marshalling 7 pm and float line up/organizing before the parade at Keystone Avenue. AND Sunday clean-up on 20th October meeting at 8.30 am Weis Parking Lot.
We will need as many volunteers as possible to accomplish our club's goal of MAKING A DIFFERENCE. Please reach out to Karen or Nicole - co-Chairs of the Emmaus Rotary Community Service Committee at ercommunityservice@gmail.com.
