In case you didn't catch the page title: This is an editorial / opinion of 1 person. Offended by language? Don't check out the video at the end of text part.

Not political / politicized? Right, total bullshit! Somewhat familiar with Lehigh Valley 4 All (should be named: LV 4 All Democrats) table / see above photo. Figured this was an attempt at political gain disguised as a rally. Not saying the intentions were not genuine. Stating observation from walking toward crowd, noticing the first signs (Democratic candidates only). Especially one that stated: "The only thing easier to buy than a gun is a Republican Senator". There is no place for that at a rally to save lives. Seriously pissed me off. The fact that only 2 Democrat politicians were there (no Republicans / 3rd party / Indie) proved the cowardice / 1 sided point of view represented.

Rally / march went as expected. I think 4 or 5 speakers / very predictable chants ("Vote them out!"). While I was looking at these mindless zombies wondering how many will "vote them out". Bethlehem Mayor did catch my attention mentioning this goes beyond gun control to a cultural problem. Susan Wild mentioned about gun industry lobbyists and amount of money spent by the industry on politics. While not saying a word about responsibility of candidates / politicians to refuse those donations. It is the candidates / politician's choice! Sign: Shut down the NRA. The NRA has a right to exist like any other organization. Again, while refusing to acknowledge candidate's / politician's responsibility.

Ban AR-15 rifles and other weapons like it? If a person wants to harm / kill / do damage they will find a way. Why not ban cars? People use them to intentionally kill others, even mass murder. Germany 2016 / events having concrete barriers dump trucks to prevent this. Take away guns: stabbings (check headlines for NYC / example).

1 could not hear every speaker due to sound system / acoustics. 1 did mention about mental health (and a few off-topic subjects). Another piece of this big puzzle. Not one speaker / sign even came close to realistic / achievable solutions. There was very little dialogue (that I observed) to achieve the surface result of this rally. Yes, we definitely need a solution to help kids feel safe in schools (don't have kids myself).

We will never completely eliminate death from violence in any form. You would have to go back to primitive man for that one. We can, through meaningful conversation from all views, lower it. This is a very large / complicated puzzle. We need to start looking at more difficult / all the pieces.

Several years ago, at an indoor firing / archery range, picked up a 9mm for the first time. 1st thought: this is how easy it is to kill someone. When I slid the clip in / chambered the first one: did it with respect and responsibility for the machine / weapon I held. Not a great score (went to disable not kill).

It is a person's choice to act on violent emotions / thoughts. It is a person's choice to pick up a gun / knife / anything and injure / kill. Figuring out how to reduce those reasons / acts would be a great opening piece to that puzzle.
