SUMMARY:
- As of today, Nevada has logged 301,727 cases, with the 14-day rolling average of daily cases being 196.
- Nevada has now completed a total of 2,902162 molecular tests since the beginning of COVID-19.
- The test positivity rate over the last 14 days is 4.6%.
- Earlier this week, the Nevada Hospital Association reported the state dropped to the lowest total (confirmed and suspected) of hospitalized COVID-19 patients since the NHA began tracking these numbers, almost one-year ago.
- Today, the NHA is reporting there are currently 301 COVID-19 hospitalizations (224 confirmed; 77 suspected).
- Case counts and hospitalizations continue to improve.
- It is very important that Nevadans get the COVID-19 vaccine when they become eligible.
- Please do not depend on those around you being vaccinated to protect you. Like a mask – everyone should get vaccinated to protect each other.
- As of March 23, 1,133,877 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered and reported to Nevada WebIZ.
- It is important to keep the COVID-19 vaccination record card you receive.
- This card includes important information about the dose of vaccine you were given and, if it is a two-dose series, ensures the second dose is received in the right timeframe.
- Hold onto the card and bring it to your second appointment.
- It is also recommended to take a photograph of your card on your phone, so you have a copy if the original is misplaced.
- If you lose your card, your immunization record can be requested through the public Nevada WebIZ portal that can be found through the Division of Public and Behavioral Health webpage.
- Please do not post a picture of your immunization record to social media.
- This card includes identifying information that could make you vulnerable to identity theft.
- Many locations have vaccination stickers, and we encourage you to share your testimony on why you chose to be vaccinated but keep your card private.
- As always, Nevadans are encouraged to check out NVCOVIDFighter.org or call 1-800-401-0946 for the latest information on vaccine eligibility and appointment availability in their county.
