Carson City, NV — Today, Caleb Cage, Nevada COVID-19 Response Director, provided an update on vaccination in the state.

- Today, the state needs your help in getting the word out to Nevadans who are currently eligible for COVID-19 vaccination.
- ALL Nevada counties are vaccinating people that are 65 and older. This age group is important to get vaccinated, so please, help a friend, neighbor, parent, or loved one.
- Everyone 65 and older needs to know that they have the opportunity to get vaccinated if they choose.
- Nevadans should reach out to those they know to make sure they have a plan and understand what steps need to be taken to be vaccinated.
- For people that have access the internet, they can visit NVCOVIDFighter.org for appointment availability.
- For Nevadans that are more comfortable with on the phone, they can call 1-800-401-0946. The call center is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.
- COVID-19 vaccine is available for our prioritized workforce groups as well. Check the NVCOVIDFighter.org county page for information on what groups are eligible.
- As more Nevadans 65+ are vaccinated the state will be able to move to other groups faster. Statewide, 63% of those 65 and older have been vaccinated.
