Daily updates:
  • Gov. Cooper and members of the Coronavirus Task Force to hold a 4 p.m. briefing on COVID-19 updates. View live stream in English and Spanish at ncdps.gov/news-conference. Media can check the Governor's public schedule for dial-in information.
  • NCDHHS will be releasing an updated dashboard this afternoon that includes additional information about medical capacity and supplies.

ICYMI:
  • Governor Roy Cooper's statewide Stay at Home Order went into effect today, March 30, at 5 p.m. and will last until April 29, 2020. Read more in the FAQs for Executive Order No. 121 (also available in Spanish).
  • New information on COVID-19 surveillance strategies available.
  • To help families access food during the COVID-19 pandemic, NCDHHS is temporarily increasing benefits for March 2020 and April 2020 to current Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) recipients in North Carolina. Read more.
  • Governor Roy Cooper signed Executive Order No. 122 to help schools and local governments access state surplus property to help bridge gaps during the response to COVID-19. The Order also provides transfer or donation of personal protective equipment (PPE) that state government may have and not need. Read more.
