“Gavin Newsom’s days of hurting Californians will soon be over. In just 75 days, we will elect a governor who will put the people of California first instead of special interest groups and Sacramento lobbyists. As I said when I first announced my campaign, Californians want and deserve better from their governor. We have seen what a Gavin-led California looks like—businesses leaving, jobs evaporating, homelessness rising, taxes increasing, and out-of-control violence.
“When he shut us down for over a year, he lived it up at the French Laundry. When he prohibited our children from going back to classrooms to continue their education, he sent his kids to a private school for in-person teaching. His hypocrisy knows no bounds.
“In these next few months, I will continue to meet with everyday Californians across this state to listen to their voices and share my vision to restore the luster of the Golden State. We have a real opportunity to beat Gavin Newsom and the status quo, but it will require someone who is a true outsider and compassionate disruptor to meet that challenge.”
