The Allentown Rescue Mission is Awarded Gift at USMC Birthday Celebration
(Allentown, PA)— The Allentown Rescue Mission proudly thanks the Bethlehem and Lehigh Valley
Marine Detachments for their support of homeless men in the Lehigh Valley. At the United States
Marine Corps 245th birthday ceremony, the Marines presented the Allentown Rescue Mission with a gift
of $500. The celebration took place at Cedar Beach Park in Allentown on November 10, 2020. The
donation will help fund the Allentown Rescue Mission’s programs, and give the men the tools they need
to overcome homelessness and reintegrate back into the community.
