Luetkemeyer statement on April Job Openings Report
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, House Committee on Small Business Ranking Member Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03) released the following statement on the dismal April Job Openings Report released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
“While American businesses were unable to fill 9.3 million jobs in April, up 1 million from March, it is clear the Biden and Pelosi plan of paying workers to stay home is shuttering small businesses across the country," said Ranking Member Luetkemeyer. "As we emerge from the pandemic, the government should help employers get back on their feet, not further impede their recovery. The Democrats must incentivize employees to return to work.”
