amazing projects from young adults!
Unfortunately, due to file corruption, there are no photos. Enjoy the review and mini-tour!
I had the pleasure of speaking with Brandy M. Sawyer, Director of STEM for the School District. She informed me in the past few years, this grew from 60 projects to 600 with 900 students participating. Plus, I also had the pleasure of speaking with one of the student participants. His project was on Neurons using cockroaches. I have no fear of cockroaches, but the one he had was big! Honestly, neurons is a little beyond my science education level.
Special thanks to Frank K. Schweighardt, Ph.D. from the Da Vinci Science Center in Allentown. We had a great conversation and he performed 2 experiments with students.
